Senior Software Engineer, Scala

BA or BS degree;
5+ years of experience programming at least 3+ years in Scala;
Experience in delivering high performance production quality systems to clients;
Functional understanding of distributed systems architecture;
3+ years of experience with object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms and all phases of software development;
Aptitude for analytical problem solving.

Developing efficient web services and APIs;
Designing and developing scalable and reusable frameworks for all levels of the platform infrastructure;
Designing system architecture for high-concurrency, fault-tolerant, event-driven services;
Designing and code secure software, ensuring all utilized methods and technologies meet industry requirements and known best-practices;
Writing test and benchmarking code;
Working with a collaborative and agile engineering team to define technology requirements and development roadmaps.
