Computools will take part in Ukrainian IT Awards 2019. However, not as a contestant, but as a member of the jury. Oleg Svet, Computools CDO, was included in the jury board in the category Software Architecture. There are also representatives of other Ukrainian and International IT companies, such as “SoftServe”, “GlobalLogic”, “ELEKS”, “EPAM Systems”, “Ciklum” etc.
Annually the Ukrainian IT Awards juries choose best professionals in such IT nominations: Business Analysis, Design, DevOps, IT Education, Product Management, Project Management, Quality Assurance, Research, Software Architecture, Software Engineering. The honorary award “IT Awards” is presented to the outstanding professionals of the industry. The Ukrainian IT Awards is a recognition of professional achievements and success among experts and colleagues in the IT community. The widespread of information technology services and continuous growth of the industry has led to high competition in this area. Winning an award opens up new opportunities for each professional, and for the company he represents.
This year, the jury board consists of 64 experts. Women in IT awards are represented on both sides: as participants and as members of the jury. Registration for nominees has closed on July 7, 2019. At the moment, the jury evaluates all participants according to next key criteria: Project/Product Evaluation, Best Practices & Industrial Standards Evaluation, Innovation Evaluation, Social Responsibility & Community Development, Awards & Certification.
After a thorough check of the participants’ forms, the jury selects three finalists in each category. They conduct a separate detailed interview with each of them. Awarding of winners will take place on September 7, 2019, in Kyiv.
Information technology is one of the priorities and promising spheres in Ukraine. The mission of this non-commercial project is to find and reward the best professionals in an IT industry.
The organizers of the award note that every year it becomes more and more difficult to choose the finalists, as the participants improve their skills and expertise. Moreover, participation in the awards jury is also becoming a challenge for representatives of companies, since they are faced with such a difficult task. After all, to select the best participants in the category the member of the jury must also be a high-class expert and specialist.
