It is believed that the rapid development of technology, many handheld gadgets with a million new features and the advent of virtual reality, make people indifferent to other people’s troubles. However, as a provider of innovative software solutions, Computools can completely refute this fact.
Right now, as never before, it is important to help and support the younger generation, to show kindness and care for the smallest one and bring them a piece of happiness. Helping those in need strengthens universal human values: generosity, kindness, mercy, sympathy. Charity work for children is also a small manmade miracle that inspires faith and hope.
There are many ways to help: donations, sponsorship, patronage, etc. Assistance can be provided both directly and through special organizations and funds. To date, the most vulnerable categories are orphans and children from low-income families. State funding is not enough to fully provide them with everything necessary, so most boarding schools and special institutions are forced to seek additional help.
This year, the Computools company assisted the “Vilnyansky Specialized Boarding School” in the Zaporizhzhya region. This is a specialized educational institution in which different ages children study. The administration of the school tries to provide pupils with everything they need for their full harmonious growth: school lessons and additional classes for the development of new skills. There are separate Lego rooms for this purpose. Also, they held classes on the sand drawing, organize creative contests and competitions. In springtime, children learn to take care of plants in the school’s garden.
This place is also intended for children with special needs who constantly need medical attention or psychological help. Today 170 children are studying there, 7 of which are orphans. Their well-being is monitored by professional staff with many years of experience.
Computools brought gifts for children in this school: warm cloth and shoes. This charity event was timed to St. Nicholas’ Day. It is believed that St. Nicholas gives sweets to all children. So, the Computools team also prepared a sweet surprise: boxes with candies and cookies. This small holiday miracle gave the children a little happiness.
All employees of the company took part in this event and helped to gather charity gifts. Indifference and willingness to help unite everyone into something more than just colleagues – into a real family.
